Amanda Dolasinski, a native of Ohio, earned a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from The Ohio State University.

Dolasinski spent 10 years working for daily newspapers in Ohio, Pennsylvania and North Carolina before she joined MOAA in 2018. As MOAA’s staff writer, Dolasinski covers issues important to veterans and their families, including healthcare, pay and benefits. She’s had the opportunity to interview high-profile military leaders, including VA Secretary Robert Wilkie and Second Lady Karen Pence, who advocates for military families.

Dolasinski lives in Alexandria, Va. with her newshound, a pug named Hercules.
