Nationally, The Maryland Council of Chapters supports the MOAA national Advocacy in Action by contacting the Maryland Representatives and Senators. In Maryland, the Council and chapters work with the Maryland Military Coalition and contact Maryland General Assembly delegates and state senators during the legislative session and throughout the year advocation for issues identified by the Maryland Military Coalition, the MOAA Council, and the Maryland Chapters.

The Maryland Council of Chapters coordinates the activities of the Maryland chapters and shares best in class examples national and state-wide and lessons learned for managing chapters.
