CW3 Valerie Mettler, USAR

Chief Warrant Officer 3 Valerie Mettler has over 20 years of business experience as a marketing professional in the high-tech sector and professional services (engineering and construction industry), along with anti-money laundering/compliance in the commercial banking industry.

 

Her military career spans 16 years as both an enlisted member and a commissioned officer, where she has served in a variety of military intelligence assignments from tactical to strategic. She currently is part of U.S. Northern Command’s Joint Task Force–North as an all-source analyst in the U.S. Embassy in Mexico City.

 

She has been assigned to many organizations, including: Southern European Task Force, Africa G2, Intel Control Division, conducting military-to-military trainings and engagements; U.S. Central Command detachments; 79th Theater Sustainment Command, delivering intelligence support for contingency operations and exercises in Africa; and 368th Military Intelligence Battalion, providing  change detection analysis of military facilities. She has also served in three overseas assignments, including one tour of Iraq as part of a Psychological Operations unit and two tours with Special Operations Central Command in Qatar and the United Arab Emirates. She holds a Master’s of Business Administration from University of California, Irvine.

 

Originally hailing from the West Coast, she now resides in Tennessee. She is married and enjoys volunteering, running, adventuring to new areas, reading, and spending time outside.
