Lt. Cmdr. Zachary Elkin, USN

LCDR Zach Elkin, USN, enlisted in 2000 as an Aviation Electronics Technician, where he served onboard USS KITTY HAWK (CV 63) and taught Avionics A-School at Naval Air Technical Training Center. He was selected for the Seaman-to-Admiral 21 program, graduated Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration, and commissioned in December of 2009.

 

As a career Surface Warfare Officer, he served four tours on various cruiser/destroyers homeported in Yokosuka Japan. Ashore, he served as Protocol Officer for the Commander, U.S. Pacific Fleet and the Deputy Executive Assistant to the Commander, U.S. SEVENTH Fleet. His current assignment is the SABER China Lead at the Nimitz Opintel Analysis Center in Suitland, MD.

 

He has been a member of MOAA since 2010.
