Holly Nusom

Holly Nusom currently serves as a Research and Evaluation Associate with the Clearinghouse for Military Family Readiness at Penn State, supporting projects that focus on parent education and military transition.

 

In addition to her role with the Clearinghouse, Nusom leads the Fort Campbell Hiring Our Heroes Military Spouse Professional Network and assisted with the 2020 implementation of the Army’s first Spouse Employment Center on Fort Campbell.

 

She holds a Master of Arts in Teaching from Concordia University and a Bachelor of Science in Family, Child, and Consumer Studies from the University of Idaho.

 

Awards and recognitions include three Department of the Army Civilian Service Commendation medals, U.S. Cavalry & Armor Association Order of Saint Joan D’Arc medallion, numerous Soldier and Family Readiness Group awards for volunteerism and leadership, and the 2015 Armed Forces Insurance Fort Drum Military Spouse of the Year.

 

Nusom is a native of Beaverton, Ore., and is the adoring spouse of an active duty Army armor officer.
