Surviving Spouse Corner: What’s in a Name?
From “auxiliary members” to “surviving spouses,” the mission, efforts, and accomplishments of this group continue to grow.
Lt. Col. Suzanne Walker, USA (Ret), MOAA's Director of Membership Events and Protocol, is a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) and protocol officer responsible for planning and executing all MOAA events and conferences to include board of directors meetings; the MOAA Annual Meeting of the Membership; various MOAA-affiliated chapter leadership, advocacy, and career transition events; and internal staff events to build camaraderie and esprit. She also conducts career transition facilitations in support of MOAA’s education and service mission.
