Capt. Sue Stewart, JAGC, USN (Ret)

Stewart currently works as an Assistant General Counsel, Employment Law, Genentech/Roche Pharma, South San Francisco, Calif. During her Navy career, Sue served as: Commanding Officer, Naval Legal Service Office Southwest; General Counsel/Force Judge Advocate, Naval Air Forces; Senior Prosecutor, Central Criminal Court of Iraq Liaison Office; Executive Officer, Naval Justice School; and several environmental and other JAG assignments in Washington, D.C., Florida, Italy, Japan, and more. Stewart has served on the Board of Directors for San Diego Coastkeeper and currently is on the leadership team for Genentech’s D&I group, gVETS. Stewart recently switched to the Employment Law group from the Environmental, Health & Safety Law group at Genentech as part of a corporate law leadership program. She holds an Environmental LL.M from George Washington University, J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law, and a B.A. Journalism from the University of Southern California.
